This outdoor kitchen was created to feel like it truly belongs with the home.
Set within a covered alfresco area, it brings together warm AliBatten cabinetry, clean 60mm Corian benchtops and all the outdoor kitchen essentials needed for easy entertaining. With the BBQ, rangehood, outdoor fridge, sink and integrated bin all built into the design, the space is as practical as it is polished.
It’s a calm, functional outdoor kitchen made for everyday use, weekend hosting and everything in between.
Cabinetry
The cabinetry really sets the tone for this space.
The client went with AliBattens in Spotted Gum to bring in that warm timber look, which works beautifully against the black appliances and light Corian benchtops. The vertical batten detail gives the kitchen a bit of texture and interest, without making the space feel too busy.
It’s a finish that feels modern, but still warm and inviting - exactly what you want in an outdoor entertaining area.

This outdoor kitchen includes a complete set of appliances to make cooking, entertaining and cleaning up outside easy.

- Schmick SK118L-B - 118 litre outdoor fridge in black, with heated door and left-hand hinge
- Innova BL3111RBK - York Pull-out Gooseneck Kitchen Mixer
- Sirius SL80BBQ1200B - 1200W twin motor BBQ rangehood with 3 x LED lights, 25mm commercial filters and electronic controls
- Integrated bin - Built into the cabinetry for easy clean-up
Together, these appliances give the homeowners everything they need in one outdoor space - from cooking and ventilation to drinks storage, washing up and waste management. It keeps the alfresco area practical, organised and ready for entertaining.
Corian Benchtops
The benchtops help keep this outdoor kitchen feeling light, clean and polished.
For this project, we used 60mm Corian in Whisper, which pairs beautifully with the warmth of the Spotted Gum AliBattens. The thicker profile gives the kitchen a more solid, built-in feel, while the soft colour keeps the space bright and balanced.
It’s a practical surface for everyday use, but it also adds that finished, high-end look that ties the whole alfresco area together.
This project is a great example of how an outdoor kitchen can feel both practical and beautifully finished. Every detail has been considered, from the built-in appliances to the hidden bin, giving the homeowners a space that works just as well for everyday use as it does for entertaining.
