This outdoor kitchen was designed to make the alfresco area work harder, without making the space feel overcomplicated.
Instead of fitting everything into one long run, the kitchen was split into two practical zones. One side is set up for cooking and drinks, with the built-in BBQ and outdoor fridge ready for entertaining. The second area adds another fridge, extra bench space, storage and a wash-up zone, making it easier to prep, serve and clean up while still staying connected to the poolside area.
Finished with White Rock cabinetry and 40mm Corian Dune Prima benchtops, the design has a fresh, polished look that suits the poolside setting.
Finishes that just work
The finishes for this project were kept light, fresh and suited to the poolside setting.
The White Rock cabinetry gives the outdoor kitchen a clean, modern base, while the 40mm Corian Dune Prima benchtops add warmth and subtle detail through the natural stone-like patterning. Together, they create a polished finish that works well across both sections of the kitchen.

With one main BBQ and two outdoor fridges across the space, the layout makes it easy to cook, serve and keep drinks close by while entertaining outside.
A Practical Two-Part Design
The layout was designed to give the homeowners more flexibility across the alfresco area.
Rather than having everything in one section, the kitchen is split into two connected zones. The main area includes the built-in BBQ and larger outdoor fridge, creating the central spot for cooking and entertaining. The second area is positioned closer to the pool, with a smaller outdoor fridge and extra bench space, making it easy to grab drinks, serve food and keep the poolside area practical.
The homeowners first came to us for the main BBQ area, creating a practical cooking and drinks zone within the alfresco space. After using and enjoying that setup, they came back to add the second poolside section, giving them extra bench space and another outdoor fridge closer to the pool.
It was a great way to extend the original design and make the whole outdoor area work even better for entertaining.
